Its flexibility also means that it won't permanently deform when put under pressure, as it will spring back into its original shape. The material is also resistant to chemicals, so it won't be damaged by abrasive fluids.
The cord is suitable for use in both fluid and gaseous applications, such as pneumatic sealing applications where compressed air and gas are used. It's also Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant, so you can be sure it contains only minimal levels of any harmful materials.
