RN-USB-X Bluetooth USB dongle
The Microchip RN-USB-X is a Class 1 USB Bluetooth adapter that solves the problem plaguing complicated and error-filled standard Bluetooth dongles. Unlike other Bluetooth USB adapters which load bulky Bluetooth drivers and require operating system support, the RN-USB-X natively supports SPP (Serial Port) or DUN (Dial Up Networking) Bluetooth profiles.
Class 1, High Power 100Meter Bluetooth™ radio for long range communications.
Bluetooth Versions 2.0, 1.2, and 1.1 compliant.
Can be setup to wake sleeping PC or MAC when connected by remote Bluetooth device.
Settings can be easily changed with AT commands via serial port and remotely over
Bluetooth.
DTR mode allows for connect disconnect via standard COM port signals.
Programmable Bluetooth interface
2 LED's, Transmit/Received data, Power/Connection Status.
