This easy-to-use Universal Programming Module can be used with the MPLAB REAL ICE, MPLAB ICD 3 In-Circuit Debugger and PICkit 3 In-Circuit Debugger to program 8- to 40-pin DIP-package parts.

• Operates from tool-supplied V_DD (when using ICD 3 and PICkit 3)
• Two on-board adjustable regulators:
• The V_DD regulator adjusts from 1.2 to 5.5V
• The CORE V_DD regulator, adjusting from 1.2 to 2.7V, is used to supply the V_DDCORE / V_CAP-pin voltage
