The Harmony XB4 range of potentiometers is a type of variable resistor that enables users to regulate and change current flowing through a circuit.

How do Potentiometers work?
A potentiometer works through the two terminals that they feature, they are fixed to a resistive element or what we may refer to as a track. A third terminal is connected to the wiper, which is a sliding contact. As the wiper moves along the track, the resistance changes and the current that is flowing through the circuit changes.
