RS Pro Single Strain Gauges
Our RS Pro single strain gauges have been created and designed to measure the strain and force of an item, each strain gauge has a laminated surface with 30 mm integral flying leads. The gauge sticks to an item, as it deforms the electrical resistance changes - this process can sometimes be referred to as the "gauge factor". Our RS Pro strain gauge can be used in a multitude of applications for strain measurement, such as keypads, medical devices and automotive products.

• Reliable, trustworthy reading - through their low sensitivity to excessive noise and vibrations
• Wide temperature range from 30 to +180°C
• Clear alignment marks
• Can be affixed with epoxy or cyanoacrylate adhesive
• Little to no effect on test objects whilst measuring
• Both surfaces are completely covered with laminate, ensuring that the gauge grids are protected from any external damage
• Each strain gauge has been fitted with leads, enabling the gauges to be handled with ease
