RS PRO Lockout Hasps
These Lockout Hasps from our own RS PRO brand are designed with locking clamp which offers a superior strength. They are ideal for lockout applications where more than one safety padlock has to be attached.

• Fits all padlock shackle sizes up to 9mm diameter
• Lock out power switches during maintenance
• Available with or without pry-resistant interlocking tabs for additional security

What is lockout used for?
Lockout is an important safety procedure that involves shutting off the power to industrial machines or equipment during maintenance or repair. When used properly in conjunction with a well-planned lockout process, the safety padlock helps ensure that employees will not inadvertently activate a piece of equipment while someone else is working on it.
How does it work?
1 employee – 1 padlock – 1 key which means all employees carry a unique key and no one else’s key can open another colleague’s safety padlock.
