LB1836MEVB - Bidirectional Motor Driver Evaluation Board, ON Semiconductor

The ON Semiconductor LB1836MEVB features the LB1836M-TLM-E (RS 757-0499) 2-channel low voltage, low saturation voltage bidirectional motor driver.

The LB1836M is used to control a motor directly using signals from a microcontroller. It is best suited to stepping motors with two-phase excitation and 1-2 phase excitation drive.

The output circuits are bipolar, with PNP transistors in the upper side and NPN transistors in the lower side.

Low voltage operation (2.5 V min)
Separate logic power supply and motor power supply
Brake function
Spark killer diodes
Thermal shutdown circuit
