IS Easy Display Kit - SmartSwitch™
SmartSwitch™ is a software controlled pushbutton switch that can be programmed to display a wide variety of graphics, alphanumeric characters and animated sequences. Possible applications include industrial control panels, medical equipment, communication systems, audio-video broadcast workstations and simulation equipment.,The IS Easy Display Kit consists of a SmartSwitch™ mounted on a printed circuit board. An integral subminiature controller manages 64 bitmaps (controlled by 6-bit parallel TTL level signal) and backlight data.
Dome contact gives crisp tactile feedback to positively indicate circuit transfer and assures high reliability and long life
Integrated liquid crystal display provides wide viewing angle (15x10.8mm) with high contrast and clarity
Built-in bicolour super bright LED backlighting enhances display
Subminiature size enables side by side mounting at a 25mm pitch
Create and display text/graphics or edit bitmaps on your SmartSwitch™ by downloading “IS Easy Editor Software” from the NKK website (details included in operating instructions)
Connection to PC requires USB Type A to USB Mini B cable, to be ordered separately (see stock no. 6563939 typically). All other connections via standard 2.54mm pitch 16 way header
Optional Panel Mount Housing/Bezel allows the Smartswitch™ to be snapped into the 29.0x23.7mm panel cutout (1.5 to 4mm panel thickness) for quick, secure mounting
