The momit Home Thermostat is a smart home thermostat designed to replace your old one and provides convenient wireless functionality and intuitive temperature control in your home. This level of control allows you to maximise comfort while helping to bring down home energy consumption by as much as 20-30%. The momit Home Thermostat incorporates innovative sensing technology that understands your preferences as well as the outside weather and can optimise room temperature accordingly.

The momit Home Thermostat bundle consists of a wireless gateway and thermostat in either pure black (897-8948) or silver (897-8942) This combination enables you to control your home heating at all times no matter where you are. The gateway connects your heating system to the internet. Accordingly you can control your thermostat by means of the momit app via your smartphone, tablet or desktop computer. The momit Home Thermostat is designed to be affixed to the wall in place of your original room thermostat. It contains an integrated Wi-Fi module to communicate the room temperature readings to the connected momit Wi-Fi gateway (supplied) and can be controlled either via panel buttons or by using the dedicated smartphone app. The gateway connects your heating system to the internet.

The use of the app brings the convenience of remote operation from anywhere in your home and geolocation functionality. For example, the geolocation functionality knows when you are away from home and turns off the heating automatically, avoiding unnecessary consumption. The momit app is compatible with iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry.

The momit Thermostat also comes with presence detection that helps understand your habits, preferences and movements and controls the temperature accordingly.

In order to use the momit Home Thermostat as a fully wireless stand alone device in any room, all you need to add is a momit Home Extension Kit (RS 897-8951). This extension unit allows wireless boiler control.
