SpotClip-II Lighting Protective Support
The HellermannTyton SpotClip-II series of light covers has been developed to prevent any contact between insulation materials and recessed down lights. These light covers can even be installed afterwards, opening up a variety of applications in both new and old buildings. The SpotClip-II can be used in ceiling cavities with diameters from 62mm to 90mm, with a maximum height of 107mm. The light cover ensures that a safe distance is kept between the downlight, insulation foil and roof insulation, reducing the risk of overheating and heat build-up.
The SpotClip-II is suitable to use with both panelling and plasterboard and it works with Halogen and LED spot lamps.
SpotClip-II can be installed with Halogen and LED spots
Suitable for both insulation in reel and blow-in
Suitable for both panelling and plasterboard
Can be installed either from the top or the bottom of the ceiling sheet
Can be installed after construction, useful for both old and new building
Insert easily into the ceiling cavity to save considerable time
Remains hard even at high temperature and is non-flammable
Positive effect on the lifetime of the lighting spot
