AD590 Temperature Sensor

The AD590 temperature sensor is useful in remote sensing applications because the device is insensitive to voltage drops over long lines due to its high impedance current output. A twisted-pair cable is sufficient for operation many metres from the receiving circuitry. The AD590 acts as a constant-current source, producing an output current that is proportional to absolute temperature, requiring only a DC voltage supply.

Linear current output: 1μA/K
Measurement temperature range: -55 to +150°C
Power supply: +4V to +30Vdc
