The MSR138DP is a versatile safety relay which can be connected in four different input wiring configurations to suit your application: 1 N.C., 2 N.C., or 2 PNP connections from a light curtain. This unit checks for cross faults across the two inputs when connected in the 2NC fashion, and when connected to light curtains, the light curtain must perform the cross fault detection. This relay has output monitoring that can be configured to either automatic/manual reset or monitored manual reset. With manual reset, the safety relay checks the output monitoring circuit through the manual application of the reset switch. The safety outputs have independent and redundant internal contacts to help ensure the safety function.
