Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+
The Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+ is the latest version of the original Raspberry Pi board. It follows on from the infamous Raspberry Pi 1 Model A+. There are two options available for the Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+:

Pi 1 Model B+ vs. 1 Model A+
The on-board functionality remains very similar between these two boards. The main improvement on the 1 Model B+ is that it houses 4 USB 2.0 ports, in comparison to 1 port on the A+.
They both house the same Broadcom BCM2835 SoC, running at 700MHz. They both also have a memory capacity of 512MB.

What Operating System (OS) does it use?
NOOBS (New Out of Box Software) is software makes setting up your Pi board nice and easy. It is ideal for people who may be newer to Raspberry Pi, or even if you just prefer things a bit more straight-forward.
NOOBS is pre-installed onto an SD card which can be purchased separately. It enables you to get up and running without having to connect to a network or download imaging software. NOOBS enables you install one of a handful of operating systems, for example Raspbian or RaspbBMC. So the choice is yours:
