N Semiconductor 1N53 series is Surmetic™ 40 axial-leaded 5 Watt zener diode This axial lead device features a molded package which is void-free transfer−molded, thermosetting plastic, offers protection in most common environmental conditions, The voltage regulator has tight limits and better operating characteristics that reflect the superior capabilities of silicon-oxide passivated junctions. The external surfaces are corrosion resistant and leads are readily solderable.
