Extension module for the Weller SD 1000 solder wire dispenser: To use an additional solder wire reel, the optional ABW 2 attachment kit can be easily fitted. This keeps your workspace clear and helps maintain an organized soldering workstation with different wire diameters to hand. Solder wire is not included in the delivery.

Why would you need this extension reel?

ABW-2 primary purpose is to provide a secondary reel to the SD 1000, offer a constant feed of solder but will also make your stations easier to manage by keeping your soldering applications organised, saving time and giving a clear visual indication on how much solder is remaining. It's good practice to have multiple dispensers if you use different size solder wire regularly.

How easy is it to use?

The ABW-2 is easily stacked on the SD 1000 with 2 bolts to create a dual solder dispenser easy to use, simply slide your reel onto the spool, secure with the screws and feed your solder wire through the tube.
